The Workflow Solutions Marketing Manager will be responsible for owning and managing the commerical marketing strategy and exeuction for Leica’s Advanced Staining workflow solutions – BOND, Cerebro, ADVANCE, and APIQ - to gain market share in the Americas (U.S., Canada, LATAM) market. He/she will be held responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy of such products as well as own commerical launch plans pertinent to the workflow solutions portfolio.
Major Responsibilities Marketing Plan and Campaign Development * Develop marketing plans, value proposition and positioning by market segment * Develop marketing campaigns, tools, and programs aimed principally at the Clinical Lab Manager to drive demand and increase market share * Lead Voice of Customer activities to capture product reception and validate new marketing opportunities as well as track market share * Define content strategy and develop content aligned with the target persona(s) to drive brand preference * Work with digital marketing for campaign execution through appropriate digital channels Portfolio Management * Maintain regional product responsibility over the LBS’s Advanced staining workflow solutions portfolio, work in close partnership with the global business unit product management team * Drive demand creation activities for to include customer segmentation, product pricing, competitive benchmarking and sales argumentation Business Development & Strategy * Own the go-to-market strategy plan for the workflow products in close collaboration with the global business units (BU) and the regional sales teams * Develop pricing strategies designed to achieve margin and revenue targets for new and existing products * Conduct, execute on business strategy activities to include total available market, market share, segmentation, competitive analysis and product positioning * Collaborate with the BU on product roadmapping, new product development, and product management activities
Required Education, Experience, Skills Education: * BS in Business, Marketing or similar field; MBA in marketing Experience/Skills: * Minimum four years of experience in commercial marketing, product management, or similar functions (e.g. – strategy consulting) * Experience with medical device sales cycles and an understanding of the razor/razor-blade business model * Experience with healthcare IT processes * Experience in the tissue diagnostics, medical devices industry * Demonstrated experience in data-driven marketing and analytics * Experience working with clinical labs and hospitals * Expertise in presenting to executive-level stakeholders * Demonstration of project, team leadership * Experience in business strategy –market & customer segmentation; competitive product benchmarking, financial analysis (ROI, pricing, scenario analysis) * Experience in leveraging digital channels for demand generation Desired Education, Experience, Skills Education: * MBA desired, BA in business, marketing or similar field Travel: * Up to 30%
