The Global Legal Technology Solutions (“GLTS”) practice is part of Navigant’s Disputes, Forensics & Legal Technology (“DFLT”) segment, which assists corporations, government agencies, and their counsel in addressing event-driven issues associated with complex disputes, forensic accounting matters, global investigations, compliance, and data management. GLTS delivers strategic solutions for its clients requiring in-depth or rapid-response analysis of large sets of structured and unstructured data. We deliver strategic business solutions for clients requiring comprehensive analysis of large, disparate sets of financial, operational, and transactional data. Our professionals have been engaged to provide consulting services to some of the largest companies and law firms in the United States.

  • Develop and use knowledge of technology to design innovative approaches to solve data-related challenges;

  • Execute on projects involving the identification, organization, collection, processing, review, and production of electronic data;

  • Create summaries, data visualizations, written analyses, and other presentations of work performed;

  • Participate in internal and external meetings to review results of work performed;

  • Generate consistent and thorough documentation to support processes developed throughout the project lifecycle;

  • Deliver on day-to-day activities of a project including interaction with other team members and client personnel;

  • Manage time and tasks to meet deadlines for clients who work in time-sensitive industries;

  • Maintain a professional image within the company and project the same to those outside of the company

  • Graduating with a BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, MIS, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or other analytical area with a solid academic performance;

  • Interest in team-oriented projects within a dynamic, fast-paced environment;

  • Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail;

  • Ability to interact confidently with senior team members;

  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal), quantitative, and organizational skills;

  • Strong work ethic, eagerness for continued development, and motivation to succeed;

  • Willingness and flexibility to travel;

  • Candidates with interest in developing technical skills will have the opportunity to work with the following technologies:

  • Database programming languages (SQL, PL/SQL) and other database applications (MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL)

  • Programming and scripting languages (PHP, VBA, Python, and C#)

  • ETL software and data visualization tools (Pentaho Data Integration, Microsoft SSIS, Tableau)

  • eDiscovery tools, including Relativity and predictive coding applications

  • Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

  • Work as a member of a team as well as be a self-motivator with ability to work independently

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment to coordinate work

  • Frequently travels by airplane, train or car as necessary to perform work at another location

  • Regularly uses close visual acuity and operates computer equipment to prepare and analyze and transmit data

  • Generally works in an office environment
