When you join the Nielsen team, you’re signing up for an experience that requires flexibility, curiosity, and passion. As a Manager, Sales you will:
Assist senior account owners (typically at the VP level) in the development of the Nielsen Innovation Practice business by collaborating on account management for multiple clients, both small and large.
Be accountable for supporting the business in achieving and exceeding revenue targets through excellence in partnership with Analytic groups
Be a strategic client partner and trusted advisor to key and complex clients
Work with the Client Service Manager(s) to deliver against client needs
Understands Nielsen’s Innovation Practice products and services, forecasting theory and broader Nielsen solutions that impact innovation
Builds deep client relationships and is viewed as a trusted advisor
Ability to manage client expectations through the life-cycle of a project, ensuring client satisfaction by providing feedback, insights and updates in a timely manner
Meets revenue targets, and grows relationships with clients
Strong analytical and communication skills
Drives successful Innovation outcomes for clients
Able to act independently
Background and Technical Skills
Bachelor's degree required
3-5 years’ experience in market research or sales
Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude
Strong Marketing/Research background
Relevant experience with, research techniques & experimental design
Related industries include: Consumer Packaged Goods, Consulting, Information, Sales, Analytics
