Job Summary:

Supports the Accounts Receivable management team with data analysis, daily and monthly reporting, and responses to manager information requests. Provides ad hoc reporting and analysis to Executive management. The AR Analyst gives an account of charges that have not yet been collected by summarizing and assessing receivables in any number of ways, including by individual (patient), by insurance plan, and by payor class.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop proficiency using Crystal Reports generating functions of accounts receivable software (RightCad and TriTech)

  • Develop, update, maintain, and analyze daily and monthly statistics as it pertains to Accounts Receivable.

  • Interpret, develop, and analyze data requests on a daily basis to management.

  • Must have a high level of knowledge of Microsoft Excel – including the ability to do any basic and advanced formulas to create and analyze data.

  • Must have a high ability to multitask and have a high attention to detail.

  • Must have excellent communication skills


B.S. in Accounting or Finance

Healthcare and/or Insurance background

Proficient in MS Excel/Outlook

Proficient in Crystal Reporting

1-2 years in Financial Analysis or Accounting position

Recent college graduate considered with strong math aptitude able to analyze payor mixes, cost analysis, and aging.

Can communicate analysis to non-“numbers” people
