The Reliability Center Shift Leader role is an opportunity to demonstrate leadership, while developing your team, continuing to leverage upon existing plant and process knowledge of the Joliet facility.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

n



n


+ Accountable for the safe execution of all field operations activities as per the plant?s standards, policies and procedures.

n

+ Own the disciplined and professional execution of Unit Rounds, Routine Duties Calendar, Operator Training and Operator Driven Reliability programs.

n

+ Develop and improve Reliability Center process knowledge and capabilities of shift team

n

+ Coordinate all field operating activities during normal plant operations, abnormal plant operations, unplanned and planned unit activities. Support the other Reliability Center Shift Leaders as needed to promote safe and compliant shift operations for the plant.

n

+ Assigned shift team supports the safe execution of all work being completed in assigned units.

n

+ Participate as a key on shift leader with the Day Reliability Center Team to effectively and efficiently put resources on the highest valued activities to provide the production team with safe, compliant and available assets.

n

+ Develop, train and mentor field operators to promote continuous skill improvement (unit specific, general operating skills, and in best practices)

n

+ Act as incident commander during incidents requiring Event Command structure

n

+ Step up into the Shift Manager role as needed and be the leader of the plant?s shift production team.


What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications: n


+ 2+ years operations or technicalexperiencewithin a petrochemical, refining ormanufacturing industry or military experience

n

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

n

+ Ability to work a rotating 12-hour 4-day shift schedule




n



nPhysical Requirements:


+ Physical ability to work around and on industrial equipment, including frequent climbing of stairs and ladders

n

+ Willingness to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances

n

+ Ability to wear personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas (FRCs, hard hat, safety glasses, safety boots, respirator and hearing protection)

n

+ This role is subject to the Transportation Workers Identification Credentialing rule or "TWIC" and requires the successful candidate to obtain a TWIC identification badge, allowing for unescorted access to the facility within a specific time period.
