The role of Director of Business Development/Software Alliances is to oversee the successful connectivity, integration and software development for the entire portfolio of Glory products in North America. This includes alliances and partnerships between Glory and its partners including Fiserv ICM, FIS, and Design/Build firms. This role will also be responsible for performance management and reporting of opportunities for Glory software solutions including Lutzwolf, ISPR, CashInsight Assure (CI-A), Bridge, eVas, and Inform.


  • Develop, strengthen and maintain relationships with software companies that provide solutions to the FI market

  • Oversee the management of software escalation issues that require engagement with software providers described above to successful resolution;

  • Ensure the management of pre-sales support for software related issues

  • Provide Glory development teams input for Glory-developed software solutions

  • Ensure the coordination and prioritization of new customer and 3rd party software integration efforts;

  • Preparing pipeline and performance results reports on a regular basis for all segments of the Business Development organization

  • Ensuring Glory compliance with all material terms included in formal agreements with Glory partners

  • Provide program support to Marketing and Sales for all partner relationships including GMT, Fiserv ICM, FIS and Design/Build firms

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related area, or equivalent experience, required

  • 5+ years’ experience working with software connectivity, integrations and technology solutions

  • Revenue generation and sales skills

  • Networking knowledge for LAN, WAN and Cloud solutions, plus basic troubleshooting, network tracing, and IP routing

  • Ability to work with third party vendors and partners on a common clientsolution

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work within a teamenvironment

  • Ability to assess a situation and make recommendations to improve orchange

  • Proven track record of achievement of high quality performance againstobjectives

  • Self-motivated with the ability to develop cross functional projectteams

  • Project management experience a plus, Time management critical. Must be able to manage time, meet deadlines while supporting multiple assignments and multiplecustomers

  • Four-year degree with an emphasis on software or computersciences

  • Ability to travel 30% - 50%, including potential international travel

  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and MSProject

    CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS Education & Work Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computers, business, or related area required; professional business experience, Master’s degree a plus;

  • 5-8 years’ experience managing multiple programs and lines of business

  • Track record of successfully managing multiple programs simultaneously

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task

  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft CRM and Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Experience building strategic partnerships with key stakeholders both internal and external (i.e. Sales and software providers)

  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential

  • Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management;

  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments;

  • Strong written and oral communication skills;

  • Strong interpersonal skills;

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.


Most of the time is spent sitting at a desk in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move around. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light items. Position will also require individual to be on-site at retailers which will involve moving around while to perform motion studies.
