The Joint Commission Intern in Oak Brook, Illinois
The intern will be working on a variety of publishing projects within the Publications and Education department at JCR. The intern will focus on assisting the editorial team in reviewing and revising existing content, updating the webstore, and providing editorial support to editors on various projects. The intern will learn about editorial processes in association publishing related to books, digital content indexing, and periodicals.
Student entering junior or senior year of university studies with good academic standing (at least a B average).
Area of study should be journalism, English, communications, or media
Student should be interested in learning more about the publishing industry as a possible career
Student should be an excellent communicator, both in writing and verbally. Should be reliable, self-motivated, professional, and able to work autonomously on projects with appropriate guidance.
