This job was posted by : For more information, please see: CDP is searching for an experienced HR Specialist to assist the Chief Financial Officer and Human Resource Department with day-to-day management of human resource tasks. Occasional travel between CDP offices will be required. CDP offers very competitive benefits including: employer paid insurance, 401k match, profit sharing and much more.Job Description Work directly with the Chief Financial Officer and lead the Human Resource department. Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, promotions, using human resources management software.Interpret and explain human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.Assist Director of Recruiting and Resource Management with screening and hiring of candidates.Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns.Maintain current knowledge and assist with documentation relating to Federal Employment programs such as but not limited to: Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), affirmative action guidelines and laws and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).Maintain and update human resources documents, such as organizational charts, employee handbooks or directories, or performance evaluation forms.Confer with management to develop or implement personnel policies or procedures.Conduct reference or background checks on job applicants.Perform searches for qualified job candidates, using sources such as computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, media advertisements, job fairs, recruiting firms, or employee referrals.Work with department leads on performance reviews.Required:Proficient in Microsoft Office; MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPointExcellent organization skillsOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to work both in a team environment and independently2-5 years' experience in Human ResourcesAbility to stay focused, manage time wisely and change gears quickly to meet changing business needsApplicant must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.
