BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) Implementation Manager, IMPRESS in Vernon Hills, Illinois
Job Description Summary
The Implementation Manager leads the installation process from Kick-Off through Go Live phases of the established IMPRESS project management process. This position involves extensive customer interaction including system implementation and follow-up consultative services. These projects typically can range in scope from installing a simple software module, to being part of a team that may install and integrate several complex systems. The Implementation Manager effectively performs the required tasks to insure successful project completion and customer satisfaction.
Conduct customer meetings with assistance and leadership of a senior team member or manager.
Provide written documentation to appropriate team members and customer addressing each facet of implementation on every project. This includes an overall project rollout plan, timelines and project assignments for the IMPRESS and customer teams.
Collaborate with senior team members to provide product/solution consultation to customers on new and existing products.
Establish and maintain customer service relationships to ensure a long term business partnership.
Perform Install’s, Upgrades and Support IMPRESS software.
Complete training and develop basic competency in the IMPRESS product line.
Conduct customer training on the use of IMPRESS products.
Provide basic problem solving and troubleshooting as needed for customer.
Manage new and existing accounts.
Understand Hospital Information Systems/ Healthcare IT system interfaces
Develop competency and comply with the requirements of the established IMPRESS project management process.
Coordinate customer resources and assign project tasks.
Complete weekly logs, expense reports, project plans, etc.
Maintain Account Summaries.
To become part of a team that fosters collaboration and is open to new ideas or thoughts on process improvement.
Increase customer experience by being proactive and providing meaningful data to support the value of IMPRESS.
Utilizes available resources within own business unit and looks for ways to involve other business units continuously improving customer experience.
Applies knowledge of the customer's business to assess and develop optimal solutions.
Proactively and with a regular cadence demonstrates to the customer the defined value of partnering with CareFusion both pre and post-sales.
Building strong “reference” customer base by delivering exceptional customer services.
Builds and sustains relationships founded on trust with internal and external customers and ensures customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Prefer some training and teaching experience.
Prefer moderate to strong technical skills: exposure to basic programming concepts and uses; demonstration of technical skills in working environment; working knowledge of variety of software/hardware applications and accessories; understanding of relationship between software and hardware; exposure to interface and communications technology.
The effective Implementation Manager must be able to clearly communicate, thoroughly document, demonstrate a fundamental ability to project manage and overcome project hurdles/timeline delays while performing basic installations.
Must have strong organization skills. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, “can-do” attitude.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Work from home office and extensive travel; approximately 75% overnight travel
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
