Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.

Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.

Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Provides leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. 12 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.

Function:

  • North America Technology Division Business Development organization supports the key sales organizations including Enterprise, National, Specialties, SSI, Public Sector, Hardware and BI with Metrics and a Management perspective.

  • Key components of this role include supporting these groups around our Communications, Media, and Entertainment business and leading/managing the Business Development function.

  • It is critical that this person teams with the Business Development leaders in Industries, Solutions, Compete, ULA, Large transformational, Cloud and Partners for the go to market strategies. This also includes and is not limited to the specific plans per region, tracking key metrics, the development of quarterly business reviews and communications with management and the field. During the quarter if they are off target it is critical the leadership team and field are aware.

  • This leadership position must work well with Product Management, Marketing, Product Development and the entire NATD Business Development team

    • *This leader will partner with Account Teams, Sales Business Development, Product Management and the Industry Solutions Group to target, qualify and close new business. Provides thought leadership, strategy, and specific CME and Product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales territories.
  • They will interact with sales team to architect the solutions, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific CME product knowledge.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background including implementation experience and have grown their career successfully into the strategy / go-to-market side of the business. They will have strong communication skills, especially with C-level executives. The successful candidate will be able to set strategy, execute strategy and be credible with both external clients and internal teams.

The successful candidate will have 10 years of experience in the aforementioned areas of experience.

Candidates can live anywhere US Nationwide as long as they can travel.
