This role is remote, but incumbent must reside in the one of the following Central states: Illinois, Missouri, Minnesota, Wisconsin or Arkansas.
The Sr. Sales Executive serves as a trusted advisor and partner within the State and Local Marketplace. The Sr. Sales Executive will establish, develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers at all levels to drive business and exceed established growth goals. The Sr. Sales Executive will achieve consistent, predictable quarterly revenue results and be the single point of contact/relationship manager for assigned territory. The Sr. Sales Executive will be responsible for a pipeline quota for the State, as well as a closed new business quota for the state. The Sr. Sales Executive will manage the “political process” in the assigned state/territory, working with Conduent consultants and accounts.
Provide overall client development leadership and political strategy for Conduent activities in Public Sector, focusing on Business Process Outsourcing services such as transaction processing, customer care and case management.
Assists the Lines of Business (LOB) in pipeline management and forecasting.
Works directly with the leadership of other Conduent organizations.
Responsible for community and political involvement, ensures that Conduent is viewed as a good corporate partner to the State and the local community.
Work with the appropriate LOB in qualifying opportunities, establishing effective solutions and executing effective win strategies.
Coordinates governmental relations activities with the Conduent Government Affairs Office and serves as primary Conduent local resource for contact with political leadership.
Develops and maintains executive-level relationships.
Have high level understanding of political, operational, sales, new and existing business activities in state/region.
Ability to maintain a 3x sales pipeline within Salesforce
Meet or Exceed sales quota by effectively performing sales functions
Accountable for all aspects of the sales process to generate new revenue (price quotes, contract negotiations, RFP process, transition roadmap discussions and strategic quarterly meetings)
Achievement of Sales Plan – the development and maintenance of existing and/or potential customer relationships through adherence to an account management process.Duties include but not limited to:
Identify targets/existing client “white space” based on specific business solution criteria
Approach client from a solutions based consultative selling model
Engage appropriate resources within LOB and Geography
Build high-touch relationships with appropriate Buyer/Influencer
Sales pipeline management of opportunities in Salesforce
Conducts sales presentations and maintains up-to-date account forecasts and sales records to facilitate territory management and prospective customer contact.
Create proposals, negotiate pricing and close deals across the solution sales cycle
Educates clients on new services, technology and other Conduent services
Demonstrated experience selling to public sector have good current relationships within the assigned region.
Demonstrated experience selling business process outsourced services such as transaction processing, customer care and/or case management.
Must have high level understanding of political, operational, sales, new and existing business activities in state/region.
Experience and preference to do both “hunter” sales and “farm” and manage existing accounts.
This role requires someone who has broad knowledge / experience including strong business political acumen and financial and services knowledge.
