KPMG is currently seeking a Manager in Customer & Operations for our Management Consulting practice.


  • Lead client engagements and work streams related to supply chain and operational improvement projects; provide oversight of day-to-day project work for highly skilled clients and KPMG work teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure timely execution of deliverables

  • Help execute process transformation, measurable improved operational performance, and organizational restructuring

  • Establish client value propositions that tie financial and operational metrics directly to business improvement

  • Help with proposal development/business development activities by leveraging existing relationships with program sponsors/stakeholders

  • Lead specific project work streams through the cycle of collecting, analyzing/modeling and driving insights to support client problem solving

  • Drive competitive benchmarking, leading practice and industry trend collection to help inform the development of specific client target operating models


  • A minimum of five years of management consulting experience providing supply chain advisory services related to supply chain, cost reduction, and operational restructuring with a focus in the Health Care Provider industry

  • Bachelor¬ís degree in finance, engineering, operations analysis or a related field from an accredited college/university; Master¬ís degree preferred

  • Excellent foundational consulting skills, including analytical, written and verbal communication, client presence, client relationship development, facilitation, and presentation skills

  • Exposure and/or working knowledge of multiple supply chain functional areas (plan, make, source, deliver)

  • Familiarity with multiple operations strategy solution areas such as operating model design, product segmentation, make versus buy, outsourcing strategy, complexity reduction, network configuration, capital productivity, cell/line improvement, plant layout etc.

  • Travel may be up to 80-100%

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
