**Incumbent can be located anywhere in the U.S. with preferred candidate being Central/East Coast within close proximity to a Conduent location.

Position Summary :

Responsible for new sales within Public Health agencies across State and Local government for Conduent. The individual will possess a solid understanding of the Public Health market with an emphasis on WIC and Disease Surveillance to include case management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • “Strategic Revenue Growth” mindset to grow and develop new Public Health accounts with the Public Sector.

  • Responsible for upselling additional Conduent solutions/services to existing clients as assigned.

  • Expand revenue through developing outstanding relationships across all levels of the Public Health organization, especially within the program and policy areas

  • Develop and maintain strategic industry relationships to grow the business

  • Highly skilled in transforming legislative and health outcome challenges into client solutions

  • Ability to maintain a quality sales pipeline within Salesforce

  • Meet or Exceed sales quota by growing the business

  • Accountable for all aspects of the sales process to generate new revenue (price quotes, contract negotiations, RFP process, transition roadmap discussions and strategic quarterly meetings)

  • Achievement of Sales Plan – the development and maintenance of existing and/or potential customer relationships through adherence to an account management process. Duties include but not limited to:

  • Identify targets/existing client “white space” based on specific business solution criteria

  • Approach client from a solutions based consultative selling model

  • Engage appropriate resources within LOB, Industry and Geography

  • Build high-touch relationships with appropriate Buyer/Influencer

  • Sales pipeline management of opportunities in Salesforce

  • Conducts sales presentations and maintains up-to-date account forecasts and sales records to facilitate territory management and prospective customer contact.

  • Create proposals, negotiate pricing and close deals across the solution sales cycle

  • Educates clients on new services, technology and other Conduent services

Experience Required:

  • Demonstrated success in sales, client relationship management and customer service, with proven capabilities presenting to all levels of management

  • 5 years of large-scale cross line of business sales experience in the Public Health industry,

  • High attention to detail regarding proposals, contract request forms, CRM and territory account plans.

  • Proven experience in developing effective account retention and growth plans and-where appropriate, gathering consensus and support from colleagues in Sales, contracting, product, operations and finance teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Highly consultative, ability to understand clients or prospects strategic priorities, strategies and challenges and establish a business and solution fit accordingly

  • Proven track record of consultative sales success within strategic, enterprise healthcare accounts

  • Ability to sell solutions through effective account planning and contract execution

  • Internal and external team and solutions mindset with proven abilities to influence, lead, share business insights and execute.

  • In-depth knowledge Microsoft office applications.

  • Strong sense of self-motivation and desire for success; Independent yet a Team player
