We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team in Lincolnshire, IL as part of the Digital Signage Sales Team!


The Inside Sales Specialist is an experienced telephone sales, sales support & customer service professional. The Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for a sales quota and will be expected to develop business with both new and existing reseller customers. Additionally, the Inside Sales Specialist will learn the various responsibilities of the other team members for purposes of back filling. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of strong customer relationship building and sales success.

  • Develop Strategies and Tactics to grow customer business:

  • Build relationships with customer to discover their business objectives and build strategies that align with LG goals

  • Identify opportunity to increase sales and product assortment

  • Monitor and adjust customer strategies as business changes

  • Maintain intelligence on industry and market place changes, anticipating shifts that lead to increased opportunities and new or increased competition

  • Support field sales with existing customers

  • Lead qualification, distribution and tracking

  • Customer service and support claims

  • Execute sales strategy and monitor customer performance:

  • Track results of recent sales or promotional activities

  • Analyze weekly sales, on-hand inventory and promotional activity to develop a weekly forecast by SKU – review forecast with customer contacts to influence buying and advertising

  • Influence customer sales through strategic use of programs, promotions, incentives, advertising support and display allowances

  • Follow New Product Introduction process and communicate with customers to gain placement of new models and identify differentiating features

  • Educate customer on LG Brand and products

  • Communicate internally and provides appropriate feedback from customer:

  • With Brand Marketing and Pricing, Promotions teams to understand promotional plans that can be used with the customer

  • With various teams to understand opportunities for improved exposure of product at the store/account level

  • With Supply Chain Management for collaborative planning forecasting and replenishment and product shipment tracking

  • With Logistics to facilitate getting product to customer locations

  • Maintain brand and product knowledge:

  • Participate in formal and informal product training

  • Work with Marketing Manager to understand product roadmap and obtain specific product information

  • Maintain knowledge of competitive products

  • Manage schedule and handle administrative tasks:

  • Sample Tracking

  • Opportunity and projects entry into B2B with updates

  • Complete various sales reports


  • Associate Degree is required; BA/BS degree preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of inside sales experience in related products/accounts/customers/channel relationships

  • Excellent relationship skills with both customers and internal colleagues

  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment

  • MS Excel & MS PowerPoint experience
