Our Lisle, IL office is seeking candidates with an interest in transportation planning, traffic operations and transit engineering. Candidates must have a willingness to perform general civil engineering tasks supporting various project managers as required.

Job duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Signal timing

  • Safety, corridor, and/or long-range planning studies

  • Bus, bike, and pedestrian studies

  • Traffic impact analysis

Position Requirements

  • In the process of receiving a BS or MS from an ABET accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microstation, Syncho, VISSIM, Excel, and/or GIS

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills

  • Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines

  • Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment

  • Ability to work independently and as a team

Min. Experience Current Student

Min. Education Level Bachelor's Degree

Required Major Civil Engineering

Desired Qualifications

  • Participation in professional societies

  • Applicable internship experience and/or work experience

  • Interns graduating December 2018-May 2019 are preferred
